Exerimental design 1

Question: What is the difference between the temperature of water and sand?
Prediction: If you take the water temp  the water temp and the sand temp. then the water will be cooler than the sand temp because it is thicker.
Controlled Variables: spot in water, spot in sand, depth, thermometer, day time.
Procedure: Go to the place you want to research and pick a spot of sand and water and measure that place's temp each week. and record the difference

  1. You need to be much more specific about your procedure -- pictures might help. You should also include a materials section and a data table.
